Sandpaper (for helping your surface be ready for paint).Brushes to clean tough, tight spots on the fountain.Clean rags (for cleaning, removing old paint, drying, and touch ups).Cleaner (dish detergent for concrete, vinegar for old paint, turpentine fr metal, bleach for fiberglass and resin fountains).Paint Brushes (ones that one leave debris in your paint).Each of these will depend upon your own needs and upon the type of fountain you have, but it is a collective list! Each will be helpful as you set up and make trips to the hardware store and get ready to get a messy area looking fresh and beautiful. There are a variety of materials you could gather as you look to start your painting project. Do not use paints, primers, and sealers that are not waterproof!.Do not forget to add primer before you paint!.Do not forget to clean the fountain thoroughly with the correct materials before painting.Do not get worried when the paint goes on a different shade than you originally thought, oftentimes it will dry to the desired color.Unplug all pumps and other electrical features before you drain and paint the pond. I like the interface and the simplicity and think this app has good potential if they give it a good few well-needed updates.Painting can be seen as a daunting task full of messes to clean up. Overall, I am looking for something more like Microsoft Paint, which was FREE, contain WAY more tools than this, and has photo-editing power. If you want a paint program where you create good images, you should save your $2.00. (The little red circle.) I wish App Store would recognize we can't download the update and stop doing that. The update looks slightly better, but I don't care, except we had to take the App Store icon off our dock when that annoying message pops up that says you have an update. We are still on Snow Leopard, and when we tried to download the update it's for Lion only. Needs eraser, and much more and better toolsģ. Very like drawing on paper: No eraser and no straight boxes.ġ. Upon opening it I was surprised by it's simplicity, because sometimes that's good, and sometimes that's bad.ġ. I installed this app because it was a cheap paint program and the Windows doesn't come with a paint program.
